How we kept creative this Summer (2020)
2020 has, and continues to be, a time like no other for all of us. For a society that relies on 'in real life' meeting up, being in lockdown and needing to support social distancing has given us a challenge.
Over the summer we usually have outdoor painting days: meeting up in a small group and enjoying a local outdoor space / vista. This year we decided to bring this online and each week, since the middle of June, one of our members has picked a theme with a discussion on Zoom in the morning - then it's 'ready steady paint' before regrouping later in the day to see the results.
Members have chosen a wide range of topics and we are grateful that many of the participants have given permission for us to share some of the work.
We hope that you enjoy the series of eleven albums below - and we have enjoyed this so much that we will be starting 'Virtual Autumn Painting Days' very soon too.
